Celia Kate & co. team quite happily do machine wash their silk pieces.
But if you do chose to machine or hand wash your silk pieces it should be done with great care and these are some suggestions.
- Place each silk piece in its own stocking bag.
- Place the machine on a very soft delicate short cycle wash.
- Then flat dry on the line.
This is done either in the dying process for the coloured garments or for the white or cream or black silk pieces, we do wash each lot of silk before garments are sewn.
